Dr Aparna Goswami - GP

Dr Aparna Goswami is the principal GP and owner of Windsor Road Family Practice. She has more than 10 years of experience in medical practice in Australia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and holds the Australian Medical Council (AMC) Certificate as well.

Dr Goswami is a proficient doctor in Winston Hills with a special interest in Maternal and Child Health, including Family Planning, Antenatal Shared Care and Immunisation. She is highly skilled in performing small office-based procedures like Suturing Laceration, Implanon insertion and removal. She is keenly interested in Geriatric Medicine as well as Rehabilitation.

Aparna has in-depth knowledge of the prevention of communicable diseases and she has completed a Masters in Public Health (MPH) and research in Infectious Diseases. She also provides consultations for the management of Mental Health.

Dr Aparna Goswami is bilingual and fluent in English as well as Bengali.

Dr Ishrat Mehjabin - GP

Dr Layla Yasmeen - GP

Dr Layla Yasmeen graduated from Dhaka University, Bangladesh in 1990. She spent the next 10 years working in surgery in Bangladesh and became a specialist Paediatric surgeon in 2001. She has started working in Australia since 2005 at Hornsby Hospital. She has worked at the Westmead Children's Hospital as well as at Westmead hospital as an emergency trainee and is currently working as a part time advanced trainee and senior registrar in Lidcombe Bankstown Emergency department. Layla has joined the Wentworthville Medical & Dental Centre in 2017 and her particular interests include aged care, paediatrics and women's health. Layla also has an interest in the area of medical education and enjoys teaching medical students.

Dr Kuhan Perumynar - GP

Dr Kuhan Perumynar completed his medical training in North Queensland at James Cook University. He has since enjoyed working in a variety of health settings including in Newcastle, Townsville and Palm Island. He believes in a holistic approach to patient care, and developing a relationship with patients that supports them to flourish in all facets of life. He enjoys all aspects of general practice, with special interests in mental health, skin medicine, palliative care, sports and rehabilitation medicine and paediatrics. Outside of medicine he enjoys writing music, spending time in nature and travelling.

Dr Philip Wittann - GP

Dr Philip Wittann has seven years experience working in Public hospitals including cardiothoracic, Intensive care, Paediatric and Emergency medicine. His objective is to grow clinical expertise to better serve our patients and the community.

Jesal Patel - Physiotherapist

Jesal Patel is a Physiotherapist and Group Class Instructor. Jess graduated from the Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2019.  He has also completed all three levels of Dry Needling. 

He has previous sports coverage experience with Blacktown Magic AFL, International Rugby League teams, NSW Suburban Rugby Union and High-level School Sports Competitions.

Jess has a Special Interest in helping people with Spinal and Shoulder injuries as well as assisting those who have sustained acute sporting injuries, return to activity.  Jess is also a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

Shima Jafari - Exercise Physiologists

Shima Jafari is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with Exercise and Sport Science Australia (ESSA), having completed Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Australian Catholic University. Her passion is to motivate, guide, and assist clients in achieving their new, happy and healthy lifestyle. Shima’s special interest is in strength and conditioning, weight loss, pre and post injury and rehabilitation, neck and back pain and also posture correction. In her spare time, Shima likes remaining active and exercising regularly and has a strong passion for swimming and Pilates.
